Question 1

How do I add a white border to an image?

Accepted Answer

Set the colour to white and pick a thickness. The canvas grows by that amount on every side, so none of your image is covered up.

Question 2

Does the border cover part of my photo?

Accepted Answer

No. The border is added outside the original pixels, enlarging the canvas rather than painting over the image.
