Question 1

How do I make a circular profile picture?

Accepted Answer

Drop the image in and it is cropped to the largest circle that fits, centred. Download as PNG so the corners stay transparent — as JPG they would come out as a white or black square.

Question 2

Why does my circle crop have a white background?

Accepted Answer

Because it was saved as JPG, which cannot store transparency. Save as PNG or WebP instead.
